Everyday starts from a plain observation: most people’s data already exists, but it arrives as bank statements, notes, logs, rough plans, and half-formed goals. The project was extended from an earlier five-app prototype during OpenAI’s Build Week hackathon in July 2026.

It turns those fragments into five small apps, each shaped around one person’s situation rather than a generic dashboard.

The five apps

  • Statement Alchemist turns bank statement text into a monthly expense view.
  • Grocery Oracle turns meal goals into a grocery basket with deal checks.
  • Trip Weaver makes a paced trip plan with cost limits.
  • Progress Coach turns workout logs into trends and suggested next workouts.
  • Study Forge turns notes into flashcards, quizzes, and a revision plan.

Prompt Studio

Every app includes a Prompt Studio. The user picks one of three example profiles (Statement Alchemist, for instance, offers a single parent with irregular income, a freelancer, and a couple merging finances) or describes themselves instead. They then set a tone, layout density, and colour mood, tick any follow-up features, and copy one assembled prompt to take into Codex.

The prompt is visible before anything is built, so the user can see how a description of their life becomes a build brief.

Boundaries

The apps do not connect to real bank, health, travel, or academic services. They run on local illustrative data and say so. They are planning prototypes, not financial, medical, nutrition, travel, or academic advice.
